This simple yet powerful practice is designed to help you ground, center and activate your energy from root to crown — and back again. It’s a loop, because life isn’t one-directional. We’re always moving between the physical and the spiritual, the seen and unseen. This practice helps you harmonize both.
The Practice
Find a quiet space. Sit or stand comfortably. Close your eyes and take a few deep, grounding breaths.
Set your intention. Gently bring your awareness inward. Ask yourself: What do I need right now? or What am I ready to release or receive?
Reach up. Sweep your arms overhead and press your palms together above your head. Visualize a stream of radiant white light pouring down from the sky into the crown of your head.
Draw the light down. Slowly bring your hands down the centerline of your body, pausing at each chakra. As you pass each energy center, speak these affirmations aloud or silently:
Crown (top of head): I understand
Third Eye (forehead): I see
Throat: I speak
Heart: I love
Solar Plexus (above navel): I act
Sacral (below navel): I feel
Root (base of spine): I am
Now reverse. Move your hands back up the body, repeating the affirmations from Root to Crown. Feel the energy loop — grounding you, lifting you, connecting you.
Seal the practice. Place your hands over your heart. Take a final breath and thank yourself for showing up.

The Practice
Form Gyan Mudra. Gently touch the tip of your thumb to the tip of your index finger on one or both hands. Let the other fingers relax naturally.
What is Gyan Mudra?
In Sanskrit, mudra means “seal” or “gesture.” Mudras are symbolic hand positions used in yoga and meditation to direct energy flow and support specific states of being.
Gyan Mudra, or the “gesture of wisdom,” connects the thumb (representing universal consciousness or divine energy) with the index finger (representing the individual self or ego).
By bringing them together, you create a circuit — a seal of unity — that reminds your body and mind: I am connected. I am present. I am whole.
Breathe with intention. Inhale slowly through your nose, exhale gently through your mouth. Let your breath be your anchor.
Silently affirm as you breathe:
I am connected.
I am present.
I am whole.
Visualize a loop of light gently flowing from the crown of your head to the base of your spine — and back up again. Let it be effortless. Let it be enough.
Repeat for 3–5 breaths or as long as you need. No one has to know — but you’ll feel the shift.
